Leonard Wood team. We are a team-based salon focused on consistency, cleanliness, and an elevated guest experience across all beauty services.This is a *28-hour per week service position*. We are looking for someone who is polished, dependable, skilled in nail services, and comfortable working in a structured, professional environment.*★ PLEASE NOTE:* _Hours may increase after the first few months as we build momentum, gather scheduling data, and establish a consistent client flow. These starting hours reflect our launch period only._*Training begins:* February 1, 2026*Grand Opening:* February 4, 2026*Salon Operating Hours (Required Availability)*Wednesday – Saturday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Nail Technician Service Duties*Perform all required nail services listed under the Ft. Leonard Wood contract, including:* Basic manicure* French manicure* Gel manicure* Hot oil manicure* Polish change* Nail repair* Artificial nail removal* Acrylic full sets* Acrylic fills* Pedicures* Spa pedicures with paraffin* Paraffin treatments for hands and feet* Basic waxing services (eyebrow, lip, chin) if trained*Service Expectations** Complete services within expected professional time frames* Follow all sanitation and sterilization requirements (TB MED 531 & AFI 48-117)* Maintain a polished, professional appearance and follow our dress code* Deliver warm, friendly, and professional client communication* Capture simple nail photos (hands-only, no client faces)* Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times* Properly manage your client appointment cards/notes per base requirements* Provide nail consultations to determine the client’s lifestyle, nail needs, and best service options*TEAM-BASED EXPECTATIONS** Work cooperatively with hairstylists, management, and front desk* Support daily salon upkeep and cleanliness* Attend required training and maintain ongoing skill development* Participate in short *daily team huddles** Uphold Plush Rose service quality, timing, systems, and brand standards*QUALIFICATIONS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Licensing Requirements** Valid Nail Technician License OR Cosmetology License from any U.S. state* License must be current and available for inspection, as required by the base contract*Skill Requirements*Must confidently perform:* Manicures and pedicures* Acrylic application, shaping, and removal* Gel polish* Nail repairs* Paraffin treatments* Proper sanitation, drill use, and disinfectionThis role is *not* for beginners. Applicants must already be efficient and confident in their nail skills.*Physical Requirements** Ability to sit/stand for extended periods* Comfortable working with repetitive hand/wrist movements*Professionalism & Reliability** Strong attendance and punctuality required* No frequent call-outs* Must pass a *clean background check* for base access* No concerning employment gaps* Must work well in a team-based environment* Must be polished, dependable, and strong in communication*Sanitation Requirements (MANDATORY)*Per TB MED 531 & AFI 48-117, nail technicians must:* Perform daily tool and foot spa disinfection* Maintain pedicure sanitation logs for each foot spa (required by contract, pg. 18)* Use gloves when removing wax* Disinfect or dispose of implements as required* Follow all EPA-approved disinfectant procedures*BASE CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS (Ft.
