*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Director to oversee our Capable Kids and Families*® * program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with families who have a child with a developmental delay or disability. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Capable Kids and Families® program, and is involved in program planning, budgeting, staffing, training, evaluation, and office management. The Director is also involved in collaboration with community partners, public relations, and direct supervision of Capable Kids and Families® staff.*Duties*-* Provide guidance and direction for the CKF Specialists in coordination and facilitation of services and activities.* Maintain open communication with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.* Confer regularly with the CKF staff.* Coordinate activities with CKF personnel to ensure project success on schedule and within prescribed budget.* Plan and monitor professional development and training for CKF staff.* Conduct progress evaluations of CKF staff.* Assure documented progress of benchmarks and performance measures.* Maintain sound fiscal management and decision-making regarding expenditures, tracking, and documentation.* Prepare required reports in a timely manner.*Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, special education, education, psychology, social work, business management, or related field from an accredited college or university* Three to five years of related experience and/or training* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, out-going, creative, organized, and resourceful, a self-starter, and professional.* Experience with supervision of staff preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: From $24.86 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
