*Job Summary:*Space Age Restaurant, a unique dining destination in Gila Bend, AZ, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solo Cook to oversee all kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality meals.​*Key Responsibilities:** Prepare and cook all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.* Manage kitchen operations independently, including opening and closing procedures.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.* Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste.* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.* Develop daily specials and contribute to menu planning*Qualifications:** Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a solo or leadership role.* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.* Valid food handler’s certification.​*Working Conditions:** Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible schedulePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
