Job Summary:We seek enthusiastic and creative CNC Machinists to join our team, with normal weekday day-shift hours from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. We desire strong set-up, modeling, programming, and technical CNC machining expertise, including trouble-shooting, measuring, print-reading, tool-selection, and finishing skills, and a dedication to quality and customer service. Must be reliable, and must have mechanical aptitude and good mathematics skills.Preferred candidates feature:* Eight or more years of experience in CNC machine set-up, programming, and operation in a fabrication and machine shop environment* Experience with one or more of CNC vertical and horizontal mills and boring mills, and vertical and horizontal turret lathes* Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and material specifications, and to measure with micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, pi tapes, and other instruments* Capability to model and program 2D and 3D CAD software to generate efficient and effective tool-paths* Comfort with Fanuc, Haas, and Toshiba interfaces* Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts* Skill in selecting optimal tooling for each project* Ability to machine accurately and neatly, and to clean up parts, including deburring, breaking edges, and tapping* Other duties as assignedWe offer generous benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term Disability, 401k Plan With Company Match, and Paid Time OffPay commensurate with experience, approximately USD 65,000 - 75,000 per yearOur facility is located in Stephentown, NY, 12168, 25 minutes from Pittsfield, MA, 35 minutes from Bennington, VT, and 45 minutes from Albany, NY.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $76,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* Machining: 8 years (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Stephentown, NY 12168 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Stephentown, NY 12168: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
