We’re seeking a warm, engaging Mandarin tutor with excellent English skills to help introduce her to the language in a joyful and natural way.Position OverviewThis is a consistent, part-time role for someone who enjoys early childhood education and understands how to make learning both fun and meaningful. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with structure, using play-based methods to spark curiosity and build a foundation in conversational Mandarin.Responsibilities- Introduce and reinforce Mandarin through songs, games, stories, and play- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities to encourage listening and speaking- Maintain a gentle, encouraging teaching style that fosters confidence- Communicate clearly with parents about weekly goals and progress- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and positive environmentQualifications- Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent English communication skills- Prior experience with young children (ages 2–5) in a tutoring, teaching, or nanny setting- Creative, patient, and genuinely enjoys early childhood learning- Reliable and organized; able to maintain a consistent schedule- Background in early childhood education, music, or arts a plusSchedule & Compensation- Guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week, weekday afternoons from 2:30 PM onward- Additional hours available for the right fit- Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications- Long-term commitment preferredAbout YouYou’re someone who lights up around kids, believes language learning should be fun, and enjoys finding creative ways to teach through play.
