An ideal candidate is someone who has community presence, and is passionate about helping others fulfill their hopes and dreams of independent living; Someone who is willing to open their home and share their family and life with another adult. A Host Home Provider is dedicated to providing support and assistance to another adult within your own home as well as the community. A Host Home Provider essentially rents out a room in their home to an individual with developmental disabilities and provides that person with day-to-day support to live a successful life. Star Choices strives to match Host Home Providers with a person they will support keeping in mind lifestyles, preferences and personalities.
