*Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) – Job Description**Position Summary:*We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and resident-focused *Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)* to lead the overall operations of our skilled nursing facility. The LNHA is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive organizational culture, and maintaining financial and operational stability. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for serving seniors.*Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Operations** Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing facility to ensure efficient, effective, and compassionate delivery of care.* Lead and support department managers in achieving organizational goals and promoting a cohesive, resident-centered team environment.* Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence.* Ensure the facility meets or exceeds federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including CMS and state licensing requirements.*Resident Care & Quality Assurance** Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect while ensuring quality care and optimal resident outcomes.* Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in clinical and operational areas.* Respond promptly and effectively to resident, family, and staff concerns.*Financial Management** Develop, manage, and monitor the facility’s annual budget to ensure financial sustainability.* Oversee census development, payer mix management, and revenue-cycle functions.* Ensure accurate billing practices and collaborate with corporate and business office teams.*Human Resources & Workforce Development** Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate department leaders and key staff.* Promote staff engagement, retention, and positive employee relations.* Ensure continued staff training, including competency validation and compliance education.*Compliance & Risk Management** Maintain readiness for state and federal inspections and surveys.* Lead the development and implementation of corrective action plans as necessary.* Manage risk, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness.*Community & Stakeholder Relations** Represent the facility with professionalism in interactions with residents, families, vendors, referral sources, and community partners.* Promote facility reputation through community involvement and effective communication.*Qualifications:** Current and active *Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)* license in the state of operation.* Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).* Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.* Strong understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements, reimbursement systems, and healthcare operations.* Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and drive quality improvement.*What We Offer:** Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.* Supportive leadership team and strong corporate resources.* Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.* A mission-driven, resident-centered work environment.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
