*Job Description**Position:* Senior Litigation Attorney*Location:* Philadelphia Office (Hybrid)*Bar: *NJ and PA required.*Firm: *Hardin Thompson PCHardin Thompson PC is a rapidly growing civil defense firm with offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York and New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Litigation Attorney to join and help grow our Philadelphia office. This role requires a strong leader who is not only skilled in litigation but also has the vision and drive to expand the office. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development within the firm.*Responsibilities:*· Provide expert legal representation to insurance companies in civil litigation matters, including personal injury, property damage, and contract disputes.· Lead efforts to grow and develop the Philadelphia office, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking.· Develop and implement effective legal strategies in collaboration with partners and other attorneys in the firm.· Conduct thorough research and prepare high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.· Manage case preparation through trial, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers, acting as a key point of contact for the Philadelphia office.· Mentor and develop junior attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.· Stay current with the latest legal developments and integrate them into practice to benefit clients and the firm.*Qualifications:*· Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.· Experience in insurance defense.· Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and grow a legal practice area.· Strong research and writing skills.· Excellent oral and written communication skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a senior leadership team.· Strong organizational and time management skills.· Ability to meet deadlines and manage pressure effectively.· Commitment to professional development and staying current with legal trends.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* Retirement planWork Location: In person
