Wegner Automotive Research & Manufacturing, a leader in the High-Performance Auto Industry, is currently looking for a full-time CNC Programmer & CNC Operator with 3+ years of experience. Our CNC department is an ever-growing division of Wegner Automotive, with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. We are looking for experienced individuals with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail and precision. The ideal CNC Programmer & CNC Operator must be able to excel in a fast-paced work environment and possess an eagerness to take on new challenges and grow with the company.Position: CNC Programmer & CNC OperatorJob type: Full-time, on-siteSchedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm, overtime as neededPay Rate: Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experienceEssential Responsibilities and Duties:* Machine components based on exact specifications and desired quality and quantity* Setup new or existing programs, including but not limited to: building tool/holder assemblies, loading/unloading tools, setting tool/work offsets and safely proving out each new program one tool at a time.* Inspect and measure finished products; adjust program/setup accordingly based on engineering documents and part fitment.* Work alongside CNC programmers for component programs* Follow quality and safety standards and regulations* Create and maintain accurate records of machine setups, program changes, and production runs* Maintain a clean and organized workstationEducation and Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent required* An associate degree in Machining or related CNC field preferred* +3 years CNC operating and setup experience requiredSkills and Qualifications:    * Ability to setup CNC programs according to setup sheets* Tool selection and creation* Tool offsets* Work offsets* Use of a part probe for work offsets and part positioning* Use of an edgefinder and test indicator for alignment or positioning* Ability to prove out a program without a machine crash or tool breakage* High-level knowledge of G-code* Knowledge of and experience with various CNC machine types (VMC, HMC, Table/Table 5 axis etc.)* Knowledge of and experience with various cutting tool types and their correct application* Ability to listen and follow directions* Ability to work collaboratively with the team, as well as independently, depending on project requirements* Ability to focus on assigned tasks without getting distracted* Basic Computer Skills* Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds* Ability to stand for long periods of timeThis is a full-time position with benefits including:* Health insurance* Dental insurance* Vision Insurance* 401K with profit sharing and employer contribution* PTO & Paid Holidays* Compensation is negotiable and based on experience and qualificationsPlease feel free to call (920) 394-3557 and ask for Casey for more information on the position.
