$3,000 SIGNING BONUS for Qualified Applicants (paid over 1 year of employment)Responsibilities:- Safely operate a school bus to transport students to and from school and other activities- Follow a predetermined route and schedule- Ensure the safety of all passengers on board- Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus- Communicate with school staff and parents regarding any issues or concerns- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus- Keep the bus clean inside and out and presentable at all timesRequirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with air brake, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements- Ability to write and communicate effectively in English- Previous experience in school bus driving or similar role is preferred- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for children- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and inspections on the bus- Ability to work well with children and provide a safe and positive environmentNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
