*THIS IS A CONTRACT CNC PROGRAMMER POSITION**Summary:*We are seeking a *senior CNC Programmer* who can *own programs from print through first-article success* to rapidly convert backlog into *shippable, compliant product*.This role is *execution-focused*, not developmental.The goal is to *clear late WIP*, not to design future processesLocation: Fife, WA (On-site)*Job Type: Contract (30–90 days, extension possible)**Pay Range: $75–$110 per hour (DOE)**What You Will Do** Program CNC machines for *medical device components** Interpret complex *GD&T and datum structures** Develop and refine:* CNC programs* Setup sheets* Tool lists* Inspection checkpoints* Support *prove-out and first-article inspection (FAI)** Work directly with setup machinists and quality to:* Resolve issues quickly* Stabilize the process* Focus on *existing backlog only**What Success Looks Like** Late jobs programmed, proved out, and shipped* Clean first-article approvals* Minimal rework or scrap during startup* Clear documentation for repeatability*What This Role Is NOT** Not a junior or training role* Not a remote-only position* Not a long-term process-development assignment*Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)** 7+ years CNC programming experience in *tight-tolerance environments** Strong *GD&T interpretation** Proven experience in *medical device or aerospace manufacturing** CAM experience (Mastercam preferred; others considered with proof)* Comfortable supporting *on-machine prove-out** Ability to work *on-site in Fife, WA**Required Experience:** 7+ years CNC programming in tight-tolerance environments* Strong GD&T interpretation skills* Medical device or aerospace manufacturing experience* CAM experience (Mastercam, NX, or Fusion)* Ability to work on-site in Fife, WA*Screening Requirement*All candidates must complete:* A *technical programming screen* (GD&T, sequencing, toolpath logic)* Discussion of a prior *first-article / prove-out scenario**Why This Role Exists*This position directly addresses *programming-constrained WIP*.Success is measured by *jobs shipped*, not programs written.*Important Note*This role will either:* Shift to reduced backlog support, or* Conclude once late WIP is clearedThis is a *time-boxed role*, not a permanent staff position.Pay: $75.00 - $110.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekApplication Question(s):* Do you have 7 or more years of CNC programming experience in tight-tolerance manufacturing environments?* Have you programmed parts that require formal GD&T interpretation (datums, positional tolerance, profile, etc.)?* Have you worked in medical device or aerospace manufacturing?* Which CAM systems have you used extensively?* Are you able and willing to work on-site in Fife, WA for a contract assignment?* Are you comfortable supporting prove-out and first-article approval on the shop floor?* Briefly describe the most complex part you have programmed (materials, tolerance level, machine type).Work Location: In person
