Responsibilities include blueprint interpretation, executing tool changes, performing precision measurements, and ensuring parts are manufactured to exact specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and monitor CNC 5-axis mills to machine aerospace componentsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsPerform tool changes, machine offsets, and dimensional inspectionsUse precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspectionsTroubleshoot machining issues and perform preventive maintenanceCollaborate with engineering, programming, and quality teams for process optimizationAssist with fixture design and machining improvementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork effectively in a fast-paced, fluid environmentQualifications & EducationDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining training preferred5+ years' experience with CNC milling, including 5-axis machinesProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience working with tight tolerances and precision measuring equipmentProficient in machining aerospace-grade materials (aluminum, high-nickel alloys, castings, forgings, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptabilityAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPositive attitude and effective communication skillsPhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typingLifting of up to 40 poundsReaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motionThe ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.Brand: Precision Aerospace LLCAddress: 3011 W Windsor Ave Phoenix, AZ - 85009Property Description: Precision Aerospace LLC - Phoenix, AZProperty Number: 1000
