Reflections has part-time 25 hours a week positions open for Certified Peer Recovery specialist*Summary*Reflections Substance Use program provides a continuum of integrated services, including assessments, substance use treatment, Treatment coordination, family educations, and recovery support. We provide service that are innovative, trauma informed, person centered, and strength based. We strive for the highest quality of care evidence-based practices in a trauma informed environment. The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in collaboration with their supervisor will be responsible for ensuring coordination and compliance with: funding sources, licensing authorities, and key stakeholders while providing effective treatment services to Reflections clients. The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will work with their supervisor on all implementation of current and new services; facilitate coordination of care with division continuum of services; and ensure culturally responsive direct services to individuals/families in the program.The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will provide services for our co-occurring program and is responsible for clients needs outside of the clinical services and remain in compliance with DHS paperwork, interfacing within the community and clients in efforts to build and maintain relationships of stakeholders.*POSITION SUMMARY:* Ability to establish a rapport and provide Support by using Motivational Interviewing (MI) Therapy. Ability to comply with 245G policies, Federal Law 42, and HIPAA while working in a co-occurring outpatient chemical dependency program.*Experience/ Qualifications:*· Have a high school diploma or its equivalent· Have a minimum of one year in recovery from substance use disorder· Credential from the Minnesota Certified Board, the Upper Midwest Indian Council on Addictive Disorders, or the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. An individual may also receive a credential from tribal nation when providing peer recover support service in a tribally license program. The credential must demonstrates skills· Training in the domains of ethics, boundaries, advocacy, mentoring, and education, and wellness and support· Receive ongoing supervision in areas specific to the domains of Recovery Coach Specialist role by LADC· Knowledge of how to enter data and notes into a computer· CPR CertificationJob Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to Commute:* Duluth, MN 55802 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Duluth, MN 55802: Relocate before starting work (Required)Willingness to travel:* 25% (Preferred)Work Location: In person
