_CNC Machine Operator_Our market-leading products can be seen in diverse applications from cement making to chocolate manufacturing, subway trains to power stations, escalators to quarries; in fact, anywhere something needs to be lifted, moved, rotated or conveyed.*Basic Job Description:*Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.*Job Duties and Tasks for: Machinist**1) *Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.*2) *Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.*3) *Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.*4) *Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.*5) *Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock in order to display placement of cuts.*6) *Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.*The “MUSTS” for this position:**-be mechanically and technically inclined, basic math skills**- previous CNC Machining and setup**-reliable, trainable, willing to learn and follow directions**-pass a physical and drug screen prior to starting**-be willing to work any shift (this is a union shop and seniority chooses shift)**In return, we offer:**Competitive wages**Health Insurance**Dental Insurance**401K**Company paid Life Insurance**Holidays/Vacation/Sick Days**Stability and opportunity for growth*Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.71 - $27.32 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offExperience:* CNC Machining: 2 years (Required)Work Location: In person
