*Job Summary*We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server - On Call to provide exceptional guest service during events and functions. This role involves delivering food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized service environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in food service, hospitality, or related fields, with a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate event needs and is perfect for individuals with prior banquet, catering, or restaurant experience.*Responsibilities** Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner during banquets, events, and functions* Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and service stations* Assist with food presentation, refilling beverages, and bussing tables as needed* Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards throughout service* Provide excellent guest relations by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction* Collaborate with event staff to coordinate service flow and meet guest expectations* Maintain cleanliness of service areas before, during, and after events* Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, following all safety protocols* Support catering operations by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown of event spaces*Experience** Previous experience in the food industry, hospitality, or catering is preferred* Culinary experience or banquet experience is highly desirable* Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests* Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures* Experience in serving at restaurants, hotels, or special events is advantageous* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts* Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essentialThis role provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding event experiences.
