*Job Overview*We are seeking an experienced, highly capable *Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist* who can take full ownership of complex machining projects from start to finish. This role combines *advanced programming*, *precision setup*, and *hands‑on machining* across 5‑axis mills and multi‑axis lathes. If you thrive on solving challenging manufacturing problems and producing world‑class parts, you’ll feel right at home here.*Duties** *Program complex parts* for 3‑axis, 5‑axis mills, and multi‑axis lathes (including live tooling, sub‑spindle, and Y‑axis operations)* Develop efficient toolpaths using GibbsCAM software* Perform *complete machine setups*, including fixturing, tooling, probing, and first‑article validation* Operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and part quality* Optimize cycle times, tool life, and machining strategies for maximum efficiency* Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D models* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability* Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and documentation* Assist in developing machining processes, work holding solutions, and tooling strategies*Qualifications** *3+ years* of CNC programming experience, including 5‑axis and multi‑axis lathe programming* Strong proficiency with *CAM software** Proven ability to *set up and run* CNC mills and lathes independently* Deep understanding of *feeds/speeds*, tooling selection, and machining best practices* Ability to work from complex prints and 3D CAD models* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail* Ability to manage multiple jobs and work with minimal supervisionPay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
