*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious, appealing meals for children in our care. This role requires a passion for healthy food preparation and a commitment to food safety standards. The Childcare Cook will collaborate with staff to ensure meal times are enjoyable and meet dietary needs, contributing to a positive environment for children’s growth and development.*Responsibilities** Meet all of the qualifications of a childcare provider but arrive prepared to cook, serve and clean!* Plan and prepare balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards* Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures* Assist with menu planning to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils* Serve meals in a timely manner, ensuring children are served in a safe and hygienic environment* Monitor food inventory levels and communicate supply needs to managementJob Type: Part-timePay: $10.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Paid trainingWork Location: In person
