*About us*MHEG (Master Heo's Tae Kwon Do Child Care & ON N ON COMMUNITY CHILD CARE) is providing transportation for our students in Holyoke and Springfield area. We want to work with professionals who care and guide students well and our goal is to provide safe transportation for our students!A prospective driver MUST have possession of a valid and appropriate Massachusetts Commercial Driver's License, with "P" & "S" endorsements, which allow them to transport passengers and students on School Bus vehicles.* Keep order and safety on the bus* Clean the vehicle and maintain cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition* Understand and enforce the programs rules regarding student conduct* Report disciplinary problems to the Transportation Coordinator* Maintain order an proper discipline of student passengers according to district policy* Conduct safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily Reports needed mechanical repairs when necessary* Service vehicles with gas, diesel fuel, DEF, and oil checks and when necessary fills tires and batteries* Perform periodical safety drills as required by law; completing necessary reports upon request* Complete periodic mileage and other reports including passenger counts* Attend various meetings regarding safety, first aid and training updates as required* Attend driver training programs to maintain current knowledge of Motor Vehicle Code and the Education Code as it applies to the operation of vehicles in the transportation of school children* Employment standards Possession of a valid and appropriate Massachusetts Driver's License (CDL B with "P" & "S" endorsements)* Must be able to pass an EEC background record check through fingerprintJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 per hourBenefits:* Professional development assistance* Retirement planExperience:* Driving: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:* CDL B with "P" & "S" endorsements (Required)Work Location: In person
