*Overview*We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson to join our manufacturing team in . This role is integral to our production processes, requiring advanced technical expertise and hands-on experience in precision machining, electrical systems, and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, proficiency with machine tools, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals committed to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement in a dynamic industrial printing environment.*Responsibilities** Organizes and performs bench and assembly work.* Does layout and inspection, shaping with hand and portable power tools including any manual operation to support plant operations.* Must be able to organize and implement preventative maintenance programs.* Operates standard machine tools such as lathe, milling machine, and drill press.* Carries out all machine set-ups.* Uses metal sawing and grinding equipment to fabricate machine parts to specifications given in prints and by direct communication.* Uses all machine tool operations to make repairs or modifications on production machinery.* Works to standard ASME tolerances.* Must be able to exhibit advanced mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.* Performs all afore mentioned tasks with no assistance or supervision and must be self-starter.* Should be capable of the skill level of a lead person.* Ensures all safety and housekeeping policies are strictly followed.* Performs miscellaneous work as required.*Experience** Must possess an average mechanical and arithmetical ability.* Must have prior knowledge and experience in the basic elements of machinery.* Must have a high school diploma or GED.* Must have a minimum of two years industrial experience.* Must have a working knowledge of material properties of metals and synthetic materials.* Must be familiar with ASTM standards.* Must display a certain amount of professionalism at all times.* Must be able to interact with vendors and outside customers.Job Type: Full-timePay: $32.83 - $33.54 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
