We are looking for several rockstar _*Nail Technicians/Manicurist/Pedicurist*_ to provide nail care treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences. Nail Technician responsibilities include polishing fingernails and toenails, painting designs and applying gel and Gel-X. Our manicurists will always prioritize your specific needs first.*Inclusivity - *We believe in the power of a consistent, easy, personable and relaxing nail care experience no matter who you are.*High Standards -* We commit to give you a high quality nail care experience while also making sure that our manicurists are compensated fairly for their expertise and are given an environment where they can provide the best service.*What We Offer:**Positive Work Environment -* We hold our employees accountable to keeping a professional and positive working environment for all.*Responsibilities** Paint fingernails and toenails* Clean, cut and shape nails* Recommend colors and designs based on each customer’s style* Remove previously applied polish, gel and dip powder.* Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments* Sterilize equipment before use* Give hand and foot massages* Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)* Sell beauty retail products, when appropriate* Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)*Skills** Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role* Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures and gel manicures* Knowledge of cosmetology trends* Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards* Experience in customer service* Licensure in Cosmetology or Manicurist required.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: Commission or rental, tips are your own!Schedule:* Flexible schedule!* Tuesday to Sunday* Weekend availabilityExperience:* Nail care: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* California Board of Cosmetology or Manicurist License (Required)* Or, Nail Technician License (Required)* All candidates required to procure individual liability coverage, we’ll help you through the processJob Type: ContractAbility to Commute:* Pleasanton, CA 94566 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Pleasanton, CA 94566: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
