*Position:* Lead Laser Operator*Shifts Available**Night Shift:* Monday–Thursday | *4:00 PM – 4:30 AM* (4 × 12-hour shifts)*Weekend Shift:* Friday–Sunday | *6:00 AM – 6:30 PM* (Work 36 hours, *paid for 40*)*Shift Differential:* *+$2.00/hour* for both shifts*Position Summary*We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Lead Laser Operator* to support and lead laser cutting operations on off-shifts. This role is responsible for operating, programming, and troubleshooting flat and tube lasers, ensuring quality standards are met, meeting production schedules, and supporting team members through training and leadership.*Key Responsibilities** Set up, operate, and lead laser cutting operations to fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.* Operate and troubleshootflat and tube laser machines, including on-the-fly corrections and adjustments.* Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.* Assist operators with programming questions and optimization.* Utilize measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances.* Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.* Understand and follow all company processes and procedures.* Understand production schedules and prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met.* Lead employees on shift, answer questions, resolve issues, and support production flow.* Train new hires, including operation and programming of flat and tube lasers.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies.*Qualifications & Experience**Required** Proven experience operating laser cutting machines.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.* Leadership skills with the ability to train and support team members.* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.*Preferred** Experience with laser programming and nesting software.* Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.* Fabrication and tooling setup experience.Pay: From $24.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
