*Overview*We are seeking a positive, creative and talented Licensed Cosmotologist with a to join our team of professionals. We are an established full service salon & spa made up of more than 30 professional, have a successful history spanning more than three decades, and are a recent winner of "Best Hair Salon" awards from both the Best of Madison and Best of Monona annual area contests.Our ideal candidate and new member of the team will possess exceptional customer service skills, a passion for excellence and creativity within each personalized beauty experience, and an overall appreciation for the joy they can bring to each of our guests by helping them look and feel better during (and after) their experience.This role offers opportunities to work with a diverse clientele, utilize advanced styling techniques, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. As a Licensed Cosmotologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and fostering client relationships to promote salon growth.*Responsibilities** Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences.* Maintain customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.* Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.* Retail sales expertise to recommend products confidently through upselling strategies* Apply makeup and nail care services as needed to enhance client satisfaction.* Utilize salon software systems (we use Phorest) alongside our front desk team for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.* Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to maximize upselling opportunities.* Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations.* If applicatble, mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.* Contribute positively overall to the salon's team environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Relocation assistanceWork Location: In person
