*Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. (MCR)* is seeking to hire an *experienced, full-time Upholstery Technician* to work in our Upholstery department. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in automotive upholstery along with a passion for classic American muscle cars and high-end interior restoration.MCR is a premier restoration shop performing full custom restorations and service work on a wide range of iconic American muscle cars including Chargers, Cudas, Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, and more. We are proud to be one of the *largest and most respected restoration companies in the United States.**Primary Responsibilities:*· Complete custom upholstery work for classic vehicles including seats, door panels, headliners, consoles, dash pads, carpets, and trunk trim· Repair, rebuild, and recover original seat frames, foam shaping, spring repair, and seat structure restoration· Pattern creation and modification for one-off custom interior designs· Sew, stitch, and install a variety of materials including vinyl, leather, cloth, suede, Alcantara, and specialty fabrics· Perform heat-forming, stretching, steaming, and adhesive applications for wrinkle-free, show-quality finishes· Install interior trim components, weatherstrip, glass seals, and soft trim hardware· Assist in final assembly and interior mock-up/fitment inspections· Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold MCR’s quality standards*Required Skills & Knowledge:*· 5+ years of automotive upholstery experience in restoration, custom, or trim shop environment· Advanced sewing and stitching skills required (industrial machine experience a must)· Knowledge of interior trim disassembly/assembly on classic vehicles· Ability to fabricate, modify, and restore seat foam and support structures· Experience with automotive interior adhesives, fastening methods, and material finishing techniques· Strong attention to detail with commitment to show-quality craftsmanship· Positive attitude, excellent organization skills, problem solving, and efficiency in workflow· Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.)· Must show self-initiative and pride in the restoration process*Education, Qualifications, Requirements:*· High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required· 2–4-year Automotive, Upholstery, or Trim Technical Degree preferred· Valid *Class D driver license* with a clean driving record required· Must be able to lift *25 lbs continuously*· Employee to supply a full set of automotive upholstery hand tools· Interior trim, restoration, or fabrication experience is a plus· Relocation candidates encouraged to apply*Compensation/Benefits:*· *Full-Time Position* — 40 hours/week minimum, *Four-and-a-half-day work week*· *Competitive wages* based on experience, skill level, and craftsmanship· *Insurance:* Health, Dental, Vision + 401(k) plan with company match· *Leave & Holidays:* Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Sick & Personal Leave· *Relocation Assistance* available for qualified applicants· *Professional, friendly, and collaborative shop environment*· *Location:* Chippewa Falls / Eau Claire, Wisconsin (regional population 160,000+) — scenic community along the Chippewa River, 90 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul with abundant outdoor and metro attractions*Job Type:* Full-time*Benefits Include:*401(k) + matching, Dental, Health, Paid Time Off, Relocation Assistance, Vision*Work Location:* In personPay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40.0 per weekBenefits:* Relocation assistanceWork Location: In person
