OADS has a unique company culture and business approach that values family, flexibility, innovation and a positive attitude.*Job Responsibilities*Candidate must be able to program, set up, and fabricate parts to specification using Mastercam, Haas VF-4 CNC Mill (3 Axis), Haas VF-2 CNC Mill (3 Axis), Haas SL-20 CNC Lathe, and typical machine shop manual tools. Candidate will be responsible for all machine shop operations (safety, part inspection, helical inserts, preparing parts for finishing/plating, scheduling machine maintenance, ordering tooling and materials, etc). Candidate will work closely with mechanical engineers to creatively solve and improve fabrication challenges, and machining efficiency. Typical parts we make include electronic chassis and telescopes. This may include small to medium production runs and one-off R&D work. Candidate is expected to have experience working with various metal alloys and plastics.*Qualifications*5 years minimum CNC programming and machining experience. Able to work independently and within a team environment.*This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
