Certain findings in the background check may affect eligibility for employment under these contract requirements.*Duties and responsibilities** Use general knowledge regarding CNC machining, machine shop theory, and shop mathematics along with Twigg procedures to build quality components.* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, routing instructions, and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of parts to be produced.* Follow routing instructions and understand order of operations to be performed.* Perform preliminary equipment checks to prepare for production.* Perform set-ups using set-up sheets and drawings.* Set tools, offsets, compensations, and controls.* Monitor machine feed rate, speed, depth and angle of cut during operations.* Use precision measuring equipment to ensure all details are produced to meet tolerances.* Contact Quality Engineering for first-piece inspection and make adjustments if necessary.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation at all times.* Program equipment by entering instructions including zeros and reference points.* Document activities by completing production and quality logs via station tablets.* Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications*Required:* Strong technical knowledge of industrial production machining using CNC machining equipment/systems.* Punctuality, dependability, safety, and process improvements.* Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills across all levels.* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.* High school diploma or trade school diploma.* 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.* Experience in programming.* Technical degree in manufacturing, machining, programming, or equivalent.*Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceApplication Question(s):* What are your salary expectations?Experience:* CNC programming: 5 years (Required)Work Location: In person
