Overview:We are seeking a skilled Amada Press Brake Set up person to join our team on *first and* *second* *shift*. As a Press Brake set up person, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. This is a second shift opening, please apply only if you have 3-5 years of Amada press brake set up experience and willing to work second shift.Duties:- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job- Position workpieces against stops or guides on machine bed or on die- Align workpieces to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions- Adjust machine settings such as speed, stroke length, and back gauge position- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers- Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality- Perform routine maintenance on machines as requiredExperience:-*Must have 3-5 years of Amada press brake experience.*- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)- Knowledge of laser cutting, plasma cutting, stamping press, lathe, and crane operations is a plus- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurementsWe offer competitive pay based on experience.
