Job Title: Production Machine Operator 1Schedule: M-F 5:00am – 1:30pmShift: 1st ShiftYears of Experience (Required): 1 - 2 yearsProduction Machine Operator 1Position Summary:Under direct supervision, the Production Machine Operator I performs straightforward tasks and operates routine production equipment. Ensures a safe work environment, with the ultimate goal of zero accidents. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient production environment. If you are a skilled and motivated machine operator, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:* Performs straightforward setup, operation ,and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipment* Uses a range of documents to perform work, such as job travelers, blueprints, schematics, model,s or specifications* Troubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems* Ensures adequate stock of raw materials needed for work and performs equipment maintenance per schedules* Evaluates and verifies that production items are within tolerances and meet specifications as outlined in job documentation* Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to ensure the quality of products.* Collaborate with production team members to achieve production targets and meet quality standards* Other responsibilities as assigned* Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessaryQualifications:* Experience operating machinery, preferably in a factory setting.* Knowledge of tooling and the ability to work with a variety of materials.* Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses.* Proficiency in the use of hand tools and the ability to perform maintenance tasks.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.* Basic math proficiency* Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints* Excellent attention to detail* Able to use existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks* Effective oral and written communicationEducation & Experience:Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in the related fieldYears of Experience (Required): 1 - 2 yearsJob Type: ContractPay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekApplication Question(s):* Do you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience operating production or manufacturing machinery in a factory or industrial setting?* Are you able to work the required schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (1st shift)?* Do you have experience reading and following job travelers, blueprints, schematics, or production specifications?* Have you used hand tools and precision measuring instruments (such as micrometers or calipers) to verify product quality and tolerances?* Do you have experience troubleshooting machinery issues and performing routine equipment maintenance?* Are you able to meet regular, consistent, and punctual attendance requirements, including occasional overtime, nights, or weekends if needed?Experience:* Machine Operation: 1 year (Preferred)* Equipment Setup & Changeover: 1 year (Preferred)* Preventive & Routine Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)* Blueprint & Drawing Reading: 1 year (Preferred)* Quality Control & Inspection: 1 year (Preferred)* Precision measuring instruments: 1 year (Preferred)* Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)* Hand Tool Proficiency: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
