The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential to ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.*Responsibilities** Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.* Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily specials or events.* Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.* Utilize various kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.* Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.*Skills** Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.* Proficiency in knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools.* Experience working in a restaurant or dietary department is preferred.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.* Understanding of food handling regulations and safety practices.* Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes.Join our team as a Line Cook, where your culinary skills will shine, and your contributions will be valued!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Paid training* Referral programWork Location: In person
