Job DescriptionThis role can be full-time work from home.Key responsibilities include:- Perform analyses to update pooling factors annually, including related side studies as needed- Propose, support, and test enhancements to the LG rate review methodology- Maintain and update the batch models and other supporting tools related to HHS's AV Calculator and MV Calculator- Provide guidance and perform analysis related to risk score factor implementation- Update multiple analyses supporting product differential factors and related guidance- Periodically perform analyses to update other rating factors including multi-option loads, OON fee schedule factors, and consumerism adjustments (associated with HRAs)- Provide coaching and mentoring for a junior level actuarial studentKey success factors include:Leadership:- Project Management - Successfully manage rating-related projects and initiatives to conclusion. Exhibit innovative use of resources.- Decision Making- Exercise decision making within scope of authority.- Coaching - Maintain coaching relationship with 1-2 employees. Propose and implement improvements.Technical Proficiency:- Use of Technology- Develop creative technical solutions to a variety of problems.
