Job DescriptionCVS Health is seeking a z/OS CICS Senior Engineer to enable continued successful outcomes in our strategic goals. This candidate will interact closely with application teams in all phases of design and deployment to deliver best practice solutions that meet business requirements. They will work cooperatively with our peer mainframe technical support teams, application development teams, and partner in the development and execution of initiatives to deliver an efficient support model with integration across lines of business. The ideal candidate is able to effectively navigate change and problem management structures, and is highly skilled in diagnosing complex technical and operational issues, and driving problem resolution all the way through to root cause determination. This candidate will analyze opportunities for automation, performance, and availability improvement on our platforms and will recommend solutions to management that align with business goals and objectives.Required Qualifications5+ years' experience in the support of mainframe infrastructure software products such as: CICS Transaction Server, CICS Transaction Gateway, CICSPlex Systems Manager, and z/OS Connect in a large-scale mainframe environment5+ years experience in multi-platform application support and performance tuningCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
