Job DescriptionThe Middle Market Sales Executive for Aetna is responsible for selling to groups of 100-5,000 employees. This person will be responsible for selling employer-sponsored group health, dental, vision, and voluntary plans. They will develop and cultivate strong relationships with organizations and brokers to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth.This person will identify various ways to partner with the client by drawing from the entire spectrum of the product line, demonstrating a keen understanding of the client's multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array (e.g., fully vs. self-insured, a combination of products and/or covers a range of industries).Coordinates sales materials, testimonials, and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of prospect municates expertise on product solutions, industry trends, and emerging marketplace needs.Required Qualifications3-5+ years as a Health Insurance Carrier Sales Rep or similar health insurance sales experience, preferably to middle-market clients. Ability to travel within the state of Ohio with periodic travel outside the Central Ohio region. Demonstrated negotiation skills. Ability to understand and convey product details. Ability and track record of assessing and conveying financial information to distribution partners.
