Job DescriptionThe Manager, New Opportunities will research, ideate, and drive new strategic initiatives aimed at meeting customers' evolving pharmacy needs and maintaining the company's competitiveness in a dynamically changing marketplace. This role will be responsible for developing business cases, conducting data analyses, building financial business models, and creating accompanying decks to identify ways to promote the strategic goals of CVS Health's Omnichannel pharmacy initiative and driving digital adoption among our patients. The Manager will also be responsible for supporting the strategic prioritization of the omnichannel roadmap, articulating, and aligning with partners on how various capabilities can help contribute to internal program goals and targets. This is a remote, work from home opportunity. You will be responsible for: Sizing and evaluating new opportunities to meet omnichannel program goals Conducting rigorous data analyses: develop a deep understanding of CVS data to perform customized queries and data analyses to assess opportunities, influence test/solution design and enable data-based decisions Partnering and coordinating across different business units within CVS Health to evaluate new capabilities, developing a deep understanding of the business Developing a story and accompanying deck that concisely summarizes findings across several initiatives and creates specific strategic recommendations for the executive management teamTo be successful in this role, you will need to have: Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment with cross-functional partners and stakeholders Experience evaluating business ideas on both financial and operational dimensions, monitoring performance, and reviewing/adjusting as needed Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to quickly evaluate, and in some cases build or refine, business cases Comfort with ambiguity, developing a framework or structure to guide the work Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape, with ability to quickly identify new ideas and potential partners Demonstrated project management skills with an emphasis on tracking multiple workstreams and summarizing into concise status updates for an executive audience Organized, detail-oriented, and structured thinking, demonstrating a high level of independent judgment and proactivity Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with confident and fluent presentation skillsRequired Qualifications 2+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, with strong preference for in-house corporate strategy and business development experience in the healthcare industry 2+ years of strategy, consulting, product development, product management, operations, retail pharmacy, or similar experience required 2+ years of experience in building financial models and business case development 2+ years of experience with creating executive-level PowerPoint presentationsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
