Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager, CSR Corporate Giving provides leadership in executing the strategy and managing the day-to-day operations of CVS Health's key grant making initiatives to advance health equity and reduce health disparities. This includes development, execution, and evaluation of philanthropic programs that deliver positive health outcomes in the company's key markets and issue areas. The Senior Manager will identify, establish, and proactively manage external partnerships with social impact organizations, ensuring these enhance CVS Health's reputation at the local, state, and national levels. This position works in close collaboration with enterprise CSR partners, serving as a subject matter expert on best practices for delivering social impact within a best-in-class ESG function. Responsibilities include: Implement giving strategy for key issue areas in the context of the enterprise-wide health equity focus and social justice commitments. Manage a grant portfolio through the CVS Health Foundation and maintain efficient workflows related to grant administration, requirements, and compliance. Contribute to activities that generate evidence about how CVS Health's charitable giving has a positive impact on the health of communities. Manage relationships with internal business partners and current/prospective philanthropic partners. Leverage the company's reputational assets (e.g., activation events, storytelling platforms, internal and external stakeholder materials, year-end reporting) to regularly communicate about grant outcomes.The ideal candidate will have: Deep understanding of best industry practices in place-based philanthropy and evidence-based population health programs. Strong business acumen and bottom-line orientation. Demonstration of superior organizational skills and ability to successfully balance multiple priorities. Proven ability to flex problem-solving, conflict-management and follow-up muscle to get results in fluid, ambiguous contexts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with capability to utilize these in developing effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to work with team members in virtual settings.Required Qualifications 7+ years experience developing and/or implementing robust program evaluation plans, preferably in the areas of maternal health, mental health, and social determinants of health. 7+ years demonstrated effectiveness in stakeholder and relationship management, including an ability to deliver honest feedback to grant seekers.
