Job Description Candidate can reside anywhere in the US Business OverviewAs part of the bold vision to deliver the "Next Generation" of managed care in Ohio Medicaid, Ohio RISE will help struggling children and their families by focusing on the individual with strong coordination and partnership among MCOs, vendors, and ODM to support specialization in addressing critical needs. The OhioRISE Program is designed to provide comprehensive and highly coordinated behavioral health services for children with serious/complex behavioral health needs involved in, or at risk for involvement in, multiple child-serving systems.The Business Analyst creates and executes specific deliverables and activities as part of a team assigned to a business-sponsored IT project. Key contributor to overall project success. Performs analysis of varied healthcare data to evaluate programs and product solutions using healthcare medical, pharmacy, lab, survey, and utilization data. Extracts data from multiple sources and creates integrated analytic datasets and creates reports and studies to address business and research questions. Participates in cross-functional teams to explore process improvement initiatives, measure results, and refine processes to achieve business objectives Lead activities to coordinate the review and update of contents of the CM standard operating practices Perform review, update, and/or approval of non-clinical program content Prepares presentations, schedules/hosts meetings, and provides training to support team responsibilities Creates and maintains system-related documentation, such as business, system, and functional requirements, process flows, status reports, and configuration worksheets. Documents, tracks, and resolves issues related to data quality. Creates appropriate communication materials are documented and distributed appropriately. Guides and advises less experienced Business Analysts. Conducts interviews, fact-finding, and independent research to design creative, progressive IT solutions for business problemsRequired Qualifications 3+ years Business Analyst experience utilizing SAS/SQL programs. Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools. Ability to successfully interact with members, medical professionals and health plan and government representatives.
