Job DescriptionAs an Omnicare General Manager (GM) at our Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy, you will have ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the entire site. Omnicare is a closed door pharmacy.You are responsible for all aspects of your pharmacy's operations, service delivery, and site leadership. Your main objective is to make sure your site meets the overall needs of the patients and providers in your respective region. You will serve as a key leader to ensuring that we are living the Company Purpose - Bringing Our Hearts to Every Moment of Your HealthYour key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensuring pharmacy provides best-in-class service to those who depend on Company LTC servicesAdhering to compliance standards and following the enterprise-wide pharmacy processes and best practices.Consulting with internal partners to develop action plans addressing customer risks, opportunities and how to best support new terviewing potential team members, helping to develop current team members and leading by example.Managing the P&L for your respective site.Ensuring physical property and plant promote effective operations and safety.Put simply, you own the responsibility and accountability for all aspects of their pharmacy's performance-including service delivery, efficient operation, financial stewardship, team morale and development and compliance. To be a successful GM, you must be accountable and understand that the success of your pharmacy relies heavily on your actions and leadership. You should understand the importance of putting our customers health first-and developing and leading a high-performing team. You should be able to prioritize, multitask and work well under pressure, while thriving at having "multiple balls in the air" and being able to act decisively under pressure. The contributions you will make as an Omnicare General Manager (GM) will help Omnicare and Company to maintain our position as a leader in the Long Term Care marketplace.Required QualificationsThe Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Manager position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence through the delivery of the right drug, to the right place, at the right time.At least 5 years of operations management experience, including responsibility for managing workflow, resources, quality and compliance.Prior experience leading and directing teams.The Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Manager will be a proven operations leader with an exceptional track record of achieving results.Demonstrated track record of operations management.Relevant sectors include healthcare, manufacturing and supply chain.Demonstrated ability to diagnose operational challenges and deliver impactful solutions in real time.Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive and equitable manner and the ability to drive operational improvement.Track record of actively tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind.Demonstrated abilities to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple 'customers' of the business.Track record of building high performing teams and developing key talent.Bachelor's Degree or related experiencePast pharmacy experience preferred; ME Pharmacy Licensure Preferred.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
