Job DescriptionOUR TEAM:Within the data science department ("Analytics & Behavior Change"), you'll have the opportunity to drive the next level of Medicare product and service quality, and member experience at a leading national B2C healthcare brand.We're looking for aspiring analytical enthusiasts to drive member engagement and behavior change in Aetna's Medicare Business, using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistics that leverages business acumen and good data storytelling to help Aetna improve member well-being and its product and servicesTHE ROLE Builds and/or improves Monte Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) simulation and models correlations among different variables in the simulation -REQUIRED SKILL. Develops and/or uses algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms Use strong knowledge in algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals and create predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics to provide analytical solutions Communicate analytical results in presentations to business partners and/or leadership teams Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specializationRequired Qualifications Solid theoretical knowledge in MCMC simulation and general knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning 3-5 years of hands-on experiences building MCMC simulations in Python (industry or academia) Advanced / production-level programming skills in Python Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop/Hive, AWS, Google Cloud, etc. Basic knowledge and skills in SQL and databases for data processing Good problem-solving and communication skills to put technical concepts into business contextsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
