Job Descriptionbswift has an exciting opportunity in its growing Communication Practice for an experienced communication professional with exceptional writing, communication, and marketing skills to support our growing client base.The experienced Writer is client-facing, serving as a lead writer for bswift benefits administration clients. This role's top priority is to partner with the client to develop and define key messages, write, and edit benefit communication materials. The ideal candidate has a background in employee benefits communications and marketing. The ideal candidate also has significant experience in writing or editing content for health and welfare, and Annual Enrollment communication materials. DescriptionPrimary Job Responsibilities: Serve as primary benefits communication writer on client projects. Write (or provide writing direction) or edit for various communications-including website, newsletters, enrollment guides, emails, posters, and postcards. Work closely with internal team members to develop content ideas, create outlines, and write copy for client's Annual Enrollment communications programs. Present copy concepts, serving as copy manager in formal meetings with senior and management level team members and clients, for copy review and approval. Proactively monitors the progress of assigned projects through each phase of development, conceptualization, draft, review, layout, and production. Documents and reports tasks in our project management tool, . Maintain job files and ensure all final files are posted to SharePoint. Assist with editorial review and serve as back-up resource for copy editor (proofreader).Required Qualifications Ten years' experience in a formal communications role, preferable in employee benefits communications. Exceptional verbal communication skills, including abilities in presentation, facilitation, and daily client-facing communications. Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write for various outlets (internal, external, web, emails, newsletters, letters, social, etc.). Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly. Fluency in AP style desired. Exceptional planning, project management, and coordination skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
