Job DescriptionThe Analytics and Behavior Change team supporting the Attain by Aetna mobile app is currently looking for an exceptional Backend Java Developer to join our team in one of our locations Hartford, CT; Wellesley, MA; New York, NY; Chicago, IL, Pittsburg, PA.This developer role is an opportunity to join the engineering team within the Analytics organization working on projects that will shape the future of the organization. The immediate need will be to join our team supporting the Attain product. Attain is a mobile product made for our members to help them lead a happier & healthier life. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of technical experience designing, developing, & deploying java-based applications. Most of the work will be focused on the backend services that are used by the Attain mobile app and internal tools leveraged to support the app. Responsibilities: Build APIs and services that support both mobile apps offered by CVSHealth and are used internally. Advance the backend service architecture technology stack with infrastructure and DevSecOps partners. Maintain complex, shared Enterprise Java services - security, logging, common APIs and enforcing coding standards. Migrate on-prem web applications and backend services to the cloud. Ensure effective unit test framework is leveraged throughout services. Accountable for application uptime and maintenance. Triage and resolve issues with end users. Communicate advanced technical concepts to the team to gain support of technology change and to explain solution designs. Decompose high level and complex requirements into task level work for themselves and others on the team. Ability to understand and build complex systems to solve challenging analytical problems Experiments with available tools and advises on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the model/use case. Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams Contributing to team meetings , troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms Involved in Fixing Defects of all levels that occurred during Testing phase and Production phaseRequired Qualifications 2+ years of experience building Microservices applications using, Java, Kafka, Mongo, ELK, etc. 2+ years of experience using, designing and building REST/Web Service APIs. 1+ years of with at least one document-oriented DB (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
