Job DescriptionProvide backup and recovery services to include the following responsibilities and duties: - Configuration and management of backup solutions for IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), Netbackup, Dell Power Protect PPDM, DDboost, Data Domains, Avamar, Replication, Azure, AWS, GCP for approximately 30,000 clients. - Monitor and manage daily health and performance of backup infrastructure and networking, making proactive recommendations, and responding to issues found. - Working knowledge of data security and access controls - Lead projects involving backup services and infrastructure - On-call experience - should be available for on-call rotation. - Be available periodically scheduled off hour implementations during evenings and weekends as needed. - Responding to all hardware and software-based problems and interface with vendor support to ensure quick resolution. - Working with incident ticket system ServiceNow, responding and resolving incidents within SLA's - Automating backup functions through scripting. - Documentation of procedures and processes for others to follow. - Works with data protection architects to discuss, evaluate and test products and new functionality. - Proficiency with Linux, Aix, and Windows systems and admin functions. - Work with auditors, provide evidence for audits. - Performs upgrades and patching for backup systems. - Reporting - create trending reports to help identify problems before they happen. - Participate in regular disaster recovery exercises.Required Qualifications- 4+ years experience with large and complex backup systems.- 4+ years experience with Cloud technologiesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
