Job DescriptionCVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Clinical Pharmacist - Medical Preferred Drugs Product Manager. Preferred location is IL but has ability to be 100% work from home. In this role you will have the ability to drive growth for medical preferred drug strategies and biosimilar adoption. Biosimilars have been identified as one of the most significant savings opportunities for medical specialty drug spend. In this role you will support sales and operations drive CVS Specialty's preferred drug strategies which include: Low Net Cost, Biosimilars First, and Enhancements for Additional Savings. As the Clinical Pharmacist - Medical Preferred Drug Manager you will have make an impact by developing a deep knowledge base of the medication classes where biosimilars are available and develop key resources to support discussions with providers and payors and part of the Physician engagement program which may include: brief presentations, talk tracks, and white papers. Successful adoption and data capture from these preferred drug strategies may also present opportunities for formal publication. As part of these responsibilities, the colleague will be responsible for developing a robust product roadmap based on current and anticipated market trends, and working across the organization to deliver new and market leading solutions to market. Support discussions with the account teams during client sales and implementations (therapy class rationale, grandfathering requirements, clinical policy reviews, market share analysis and impact)Support biosimilar physician engagement program including: supporting clients and account teams with clinical support for assessing current market share and network dynamics. Develop strategies as needed to support non-medical switching from reference biologics to biosimilars. This may include assessing disruption reports and supporting physician sales teams, literature reviews, and developing therapy specific talk tracks or white papers as needed.Product maintenance 1. Collecting and maintaining key outcomes data to support publication of key outcomes related to biosimilar adoption 2. Internal training (sales and implementation teams)3.
