Job DescriptionThe Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will provide critical subject matter expertise and creativity when it comes to building dashboards, visualizations, and other intelligence assets to enable our organization the ability to explore, discover, and diagnose emerging trends and leading indicators. This position is within our Medicare Analytics organization and will: Be responsible for transforming rich member and prospect data into visualizations and interactive dashboards for our internal partners and stakeholders to explore, discover, learn, and action on member data and trends Leverage dashboards to synthesize complex themes, topics, or constructs into educational or actionable insights to our business partners Work closely with our analytics and data engineering teams to ensure efficient design and utilization of our massive data warehouse to build powerful datasets, optimized for reporting Continuously search for and apply new innovative technology and ways to source, design, aggregate, and utilize data in conceptualizing, designing, and building self-service analytics and reporting tools for our business partners Conduct analyses, ranging from descriptive ad-hoc to in-depth investigations of healthcare utilization trends/outcomes and prepare data summarization for review by leadership team and key stakeholders Construct and deliver written reports of analytic findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, including visualization of data and findings), formulate recommendations, and effectively present results to stakeholdersRequired Qualifications 3+ years of SQL programming, with intermediate to Advanced SQL programming abilities; this team member will need to be self-sufficient in both report design and the underlying data architecture powering the report 3+years of experience programming using R, Hadoop, Python, SQL OR a Masters' Degree with relevant course work 3+ years of experience in BI data visualization in Tableau or R Shiny OR a Masters' Degree with relevant course workCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
