Job DescriptionAs a Senior Medical Economics Analyst on the Pay for Performance team (P4P), you will be responsible for co-managing the payment system and associated workflows & reporting used to process & audit Value Based Contracting (VBC) payments. The Pay for Performance Lead is essential for ensuring the payments meet P4P requirements and are executed in accordance with the contract and calculated accurately through data review. The Pay for Performance Lead position is responsible for working collaboratively with multiple teams involved in VBC deals to assist in workflows modifications, training P4P processors, auditing payments and creating reports for monthly financial reconciliations and ad hoc requests. As part of the Pay for Performance Team, you will be accountable for timely auditing of all assigned P4P payments with great attention to detail to ensure all supporting documentation is present and data calculations meet the contractual requirements. This position will also manage the workflow, execution, and accounting of all credits/refunds back into the financial system. You will also be able to work with other Medical Economics teams & VBC teams to evaluate new programs and assist in determining the requirements needed to process a payment in accordance with established P4P audit and processing requirements. Additional Responsibilities of the Pay for Performance Lead: Work both independently and collaboratively with business units across the company to support provider specific Value Based Contracting including workflow modifications to support complex payment processing. Participate in new VBC program discussions as Pay for Performance subject matter expert.
