Job Description- Operates digital printing equipment for producing complex materials; makes necessary adjustments on equipment to ensure accuracy and quality; verifies press proofs for correct imposition, ink coverage, registration, etc.- Uses job order tickets and prepares for printing all make-ready/set-up, prepares chemicals, mixes inks from various mixing systems, elects paper stock for projects according to specifications, verifying color, weight, finish and size.- Performs pre-printing operations such as file preparation using Adobe and Microsoft Office products. Performs routine upkeeps on copier and large-format printer, including cleaning and preventive maintenance.- Operates peripheral finishing and bindery equipment (cuter, folder, stitcher, GBC binder, punch, laminating machine, etc.) and distributes finished products as appropriate.- Responsible for estimating and billing for all performed work. Processes purchase orders for vendors on procurement and maintenance of equipment. Ensures payment for all marketing and media services invoices.- Cross trains other staff members on the use of copiers and other equipment.
