Description: WHO WE ARE: Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring Restaurant General Managers who will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager assists with ensuring that each visit by a customer result in a friendly and personalized service with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment.We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic team player to join our team! The Restaurant General Manager position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support, while working closely with the District Manager and other team members to maintain operational standards and procedures.WHO YOU ARE: Personable, Results-oriented self-starter, a go-getter. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:As an integral member of the Operations Team, this position is responsible for: Under the direction of a District Manager, management staff are responsible for the restaurant's daily operations, including, but not limited to:Maintain day-to-day financial controlsCreate and manage staff schedulesInterview, hire, train and orientate teamOversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer service focusedExercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility managementQualifications (includes, but not limited to):Must have previous management experience in food service.Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)Valid Driver's License in good standing & access to private transportationHigh School diploma or equivalent & possess all documents required by state and federal lawAble to walk and stand for long periodsAble to lift up to 50 poundsEnsure health and safety inspections and standards are metBenefits (includes, but not limited to):Competitive annual salaryMedical, dental, vision, RX (for employee and family, as well as domestic partner benefits)Paid Time OffPerformance based bonus paid monthlyPaid trainingCoaching and mentoring to promote internallyPizza Hut is an equal opportunity employerResponsible for the day to day operation of the restaurant. Ability to maintain the financial well being of your operation by meeting food cost and labor goals in addition to good P&L awareness to all other line items. Ability to break down a P&L to find deviations or anomalies from prior period or prior year. Ability to show empathy and understanding when a customer concern should arise. Ability to keep your cool in stressful situations and inspire confidence during busy peak periods. Ability to multi-task Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours without rest. 6 day work week 50-55 hours per week including 9 peaks. Three nights of which two must be a close. -
