Job DescriptionThis role directly supports Internal Audit's goal of increasing the use of data analytics across the department. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the Internal Audit Data Analytics Program as well as other Internal Audit technology related process improvements.- Follow and help refine Internal Audit's Data Analytics Methodology. - Support the Internal Audit Department by building data driven solutions in support of the Audit Plan and digitization goals.- Work with the audit teams, business partners and other data analytics team members to create data driven solutions leveraging various analytical tools and techniques.- Validate all datasets received are complete and accurate and confirm the significance and meaning of all fields, including any related validation (queries run, parameters set, environment, etc.) such that the data extract could be reproduced as needed.- Develop relevant data pipelines to various sources. Automate the acquisition, validation, and analytics wherever possible.- Execute descriptive analytics on provided datasets to identify trends, gaps, outliers, or other insights within the dataset that serve the audit or indicate an area for further inquiry.- Apply advanced data visualization approaches in support of department projects and objectives.- Design, build and maintain the infrastructure for 'sensors' identified within the audit process to mitigate risks associated with various controls around the enterprise.- Ensure that all analytical work is tested, validated, and subsequently reviewed by management and the audit business partner. Work with broader Internal Audit Data Analytics team to ensure that all assumptions, dependencies, conclusions, and unresolved ambiguities are explicitly documented and evaluated for their impact on the audit findings and conclusions.- Participate in training the audit teams in analytics-oriented thinking and the use of relevant analytical tools.- Perform additional special projects (investigations, risk assessments, etc.) as directed by the Chief Audit Executive.Required Qualifications- 0 to 2 or more years of experience in finance, accounting, economics, audit, statistics, computer science, actuarial science, physics, engineering, mathematics and/or project management experience in a professional and/or academic setting.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
