Job DescriptionAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Lead Data Engineer to analyze data processing matters to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems and system administration issues. Duties include: analyze quality and performance of software systems, performance tuning and monitoring the system to maintain the software defect free, and enhance existing system to be more robust and highly scalable; use data modeling skills and high-volume, backend applications to develop e-commerce solutions for the company as part of SAFe agile development framework; ensure best practices for Agile methodologies, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program consultant (SPC), or Release Train Engineer (RTE) and work with consumer-facing digital products, cloud platform technology, and advanced analytics enabled products; develop an agile based SDLC/APLC for implementation of complex technology and business-oriented Campaign Production Launch Pad (CPL) project; ensure proper implementation of this methodology as used during the project development life cycle; use agile practices to enable CPL processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk, ensure value delivery, and drive improvements; facilitate various scrum ceremonies, including pre-PI planning, PI planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story refining, sprint retrospection, sprint and PI demos; generate various sprint and PI execution reports from Rally to analyze and improve team processes; modernize legacy software platforms using Machine learning and Blockchain technologies and automations; identify and pursue opportunities to fine-tune and improve Train execution and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing workflows based on broad view of the organization and a Lean Agile mindset; identify and drive efficiencies and best practices to ensure sound economic decisions made across the trains budget and time allocations; and manage and maintain train-level dashboard reporting to track execution for the team, train, and program leadership using tools like CA Agile Central.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with each of the following: Serving as Scrum Master; Principles of Agile Methodology; Developing User Stories, UI wireframes, and Use Cases; SnagIt; QTP 8.2; Mercury Quality Center 9.0; SQL; Teradata; and Visual Source Safe 6_0.COVID RequirementsCVS Health requires its Colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 10 days of your employment.
