We're looking for aspiring analytical enthusiasts to drive member engagement and behavior change in Aetna's Medicare Business, using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistics that leverages business acumen and good data storytelling to help Aetna improve member well-being and its product and services.Medicare Consumer Analytics is one of the largest teams within the Analytics & Behavior Change department's Consumer Analytics organization. The team is organized by business-aligned verticals - Medicare STARS, Revenue Integrity, Duals COE, Foundational Journeys, CVS Activation, & Optimization. About the Job This role is within our Medicare STARS vertical.This is a leadership role over a technical team, in partnership with the business team leading Medicare STARS. Top skills including healthcare domain knowledge (e.g., quality programs such as STARS), problem solving, stakeholder management, and leading a technical team (e.g., analytic strategy, experimentation, statistics, optimization, customer experience):tLeader of our STARS measure analytics teams, including HEDIS and CAHPS/HOS domain teamstTechnical team leadership. Leadership role over a technical team; including management and development of 5+ directs; team of 8+ including engineerstBusiness-embedded operating model otDotted line to Executive Director, STARS Strategy in the business. In addition, each sub-team (defined as STARS domain, e.g., HEDIS and CAHPS/HOS) has a corresponding Executive on the business sideotCollaborate with business stakeholders to develop analytic strategy and roadmap; translate and simplify ambiguous problems into frameworks which inform solutions to drive short and long-term business strategiesotSingle point of contact for STARS data science analyticsotOrganize quarterly governance meetings across various stakeholders to oversee strategy and ensure defined feedback loop otEstablish and track analytic portfolio impact to ensure team is working on the right thingsotSummarize results and create PowerPoint presentations to inform business partners and leadership teams to drive decisions about business strategytThought leadership. Leverage healthcare and technical knowledge to inform strategy and investments; monitor STARS industry dynamics and trends to incorporate into insightsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 120,000Maximum: 265,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationstPeople management. 4+ years of direct people management experience tBusiness & healthcare experience. 4+ years total business experience with track record of impact; focus on leading analyses and creating materials as a "business translator"tStrategy experience. 4+ years' experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies (complex problem solving and stakeholder management)tTechnical foundation. 2+ years of experience in SQL working with big data platforms (e.g., HDP, AWS, GCP, etc.) and strong statistics and knowledge of experimentation principlesCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
