Job DescriptionWithin the data science department ("Analytics & Behavior Change"), you'll have the opportunity to make healthcare more affordable and contribute to internal process improvements. You will have the opportunity to use your technical and problem solving skills to make a huge impact of millions of dollars in the Healthcare business.The ideal candidate should be engaged about data-driven decision making, skilled with SQL, values quality results and driven to empower stakeholders to make high-impact decisions. This role is for an individual contributor who is comfortable with data extraction and manipulation and successfully completing sophisticated intelligence projects. This BI Engineer is on a team with Data Scientists and Analytic consultants and works closely with the local market teams to configure provider networks that meet the needs of our members and meet the goals of our health care products. Additionally, the candidate should have strong business and communication skills to help our stakeholders define the key business questions and determine the data scope and design for optimal self-service tools.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,000Maximum: 128,700Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or related field Industry experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or related specialty (e.g. Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Business Analyst and Data Scientist) with extensive professional experience and a proven track record in a role focused on understanding, manipulating, processing and extracting value from large datasets. Proven experience in relational database concepts with an expert knowledge of SQL. 1+ years of experience using data visualization tools in R-Shiny Demonstrated analytical skills with passions on working with structural data sets Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the projectCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
