Job DescriptionThe International Business Solutions team brings together International Sales Support, Marketing and Product. Joining forces with these teams will allow you to support the growth of Aetna International membership by leading the development of customer-focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on financial positioning, product offerings and the Aetna value story. You will be responsible for supporting and developing new business and out to bid opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative partnership with our Sales, Underwriting, Network, Legal & Compliance, and Operations teams.The Senior Proposal Analyst is responsible for managing responses for complex proposals, questionnaires, and ad hoc proposal requests for Aetna Internationals' prospects. The position also resolves proposal issues through project management, research, data gathering, analysis, writing and editing in accordance with brand standards, plain language and internal RFP style guide standards and leads completion of large group and/or custom proposals.What you'll do:Drive strategy discussion for complex and/or high visibility prospects by leading strategic discussions of product, program, and network offerings. Accountable for communicating strategy to business partners through proposal and strategy summary documentation, identify the need for or facilitate ongoing discussions.Collaborate with appropriate areas of Aetna International to manage complex and highly visible proposals with a clear understanding of products, programs and sales strategy.Respond to complex proposal questionnaires using Aetna's library database or creating customized, proposal ready questionnaire responses based on quotation strategy and customer priorities.Gather information from source systems to independently complete proposals, including statistical data and sample materials required for the proposal response.Serve as a team lead providing subject matter expertise and as a liaison for the department and larger sales support community by influencing key partners in order to gather strategic information to fill identified gaps in proposal content.Identify areas of content in the proposal database that should be added/updated by content writers according to established processes/guidelines.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 97,400Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications3-5 years of proposal or project management experience in a sales support capacity.Previous medical insurance industry experience preferred.Must be organized and efficient, detail-oriented and able to reprioritize based on business needs to meet milestones and key deadlines.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate across the business and in the external health care environment.Must possess the ability to learn and understand Aetna International's multiple product, program, and network offerings.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).Preferred Qualifications5+ years of proposal or project management experience in a sales support capacity.EducationBS/BA or equivalent work experience required.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
