The EDML team focuses on data and ML platform design and development aimed at improving the productivity and efficacy of thousands of fellow data scientists and engineers throughout the organization. This foundation will facilitate hundreds of millions of ML enabled member and consumer touchpoints. Our work is ambitious and far reaching with the potential to become a new internal standard, an OSS project, or differentiating intellectual prop.Role Responsibilities: Collaborates with product owners and engineers to understand their problems and goals while moving projects forward Manage multiple stakeholders to drive roadmap objectives, ensuring scope, and approach are understood by scrum teams Proactively provide agile and process consultancy to stakeholders throughout the full development lifecycle Facilitate ceremonies: sprint planning, retrospectives, stand ups, and demos Use project management tools to monitor the progress of portfolio delivery and ensure timely and effective communication of the status and assessment of risks/issues Work closely with technical leads while effectively managing relationships and requirements with product Removes impediments, helps manage risk Assist teams in achieving commitments by building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, with an emphasis on problem-solving Liaison with the product and engineering teams to identify technical solutions and process improvements in support of the product directionPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 227,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications4+ years of experience leading/facilitating large enterprise software initiatives and/or product development 3+ years of experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies 2+ years of experience in product management specifically oriented around data, BI, ML, analytics, or engineering productsPreferred QualificationsExperience in guiding and delivering work from initial concepts all the way to successful market launches Thorough understanding of the end-to-end data science lifecycle/workflow Thorough understanding of product strategy Clear communicator in written and verbal form Experience working as a software engineer or data scientist Experience managing direct reports Familiarity navigating matrixed organizations Well-versed in analogous service offerings from major cloud providers (e.g., GCP, AWS, and Azure) Expertise with Rally, using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement or comparable PM softwareEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a STEM field.
